This gem of a photo location was in Asheville, North Carolina - just off the Blue Ridge Parkway! The Blue Ridge Parkway is lined with absolutely stunning mountain views that just go on and on for what seems like forever. TJ and I live just 2 minutes away from one of Asheville's Blue Ridge Parkway entrances (talk about a good location am I righttt?!) One of our favorite things to is to take our van, drive to one of the many beautiful overlooks, pop out our foldable table and chairs, and use our camp stove to cook some dinner to a beautiful, mountainous sunset view. Talk about a vibeeee

I had the absolute best time at this shoot with Taylor and Derek! We went to Looking Glass Falls in Asheville, North Carolina and it did NOT disappoint! This was originally set up as an adventure session, but Taylor was pregnant - so I of course had to snap some maternity photos for them too!

When Adolph met Dorothy for the first time, he tried to impress her by asking her if she "wanted to go for a ride". It's a good thing she said no, he didn't even have a car when he asked! "I don't know what I would've done if she said yes", Ace says. He tried multiple times to get Dot to agree to a date, and finally she gave in. Their love has since then always been so strong, but they have been together for 68 years and their love has only grown with that time.

Adolph and Dorothy, otherwise known as "Ace and Dot", are easily one of the sweetest, kindest, most in love, couples you will ever meet. Ace and Dot are an amazing example of true, unwavering love. They have such an amazing value for family and relationships. Even with 4 kids, 11 grandchildren (most with significant others who they also treat as their own), 5 great grandchildren, and an uncountable amount of friends, they lead by incredible example by having an extremely close relationship with every single one of them. Scroll to the end and you'll even find them repping their "Best Grandma on Earth" sweater and "World's Best Poppy" hat in some photos. This beach was a mistaken find but boy am I glad we did! We were driving to their photo location at a park when we saw signs for a beach, we decided to detour and check it out! Tori and Justin were thrilled with this location, so we decided to just stay here for the pictures! It was such a fun, spontaneous day, and the pictures are just too cute!

Tori & Justin are the cuuutest couple, & I am lucky enough to call them family! Tori is my partner TJ’s sister, so I have been lucky enough to get super close with her. TJ is extremely lovey & mushy, & after being around Tori and Justin so much, I see it runs in the family! These two interact as if there is no one else in the room & I liiiiive for relationships like that! It’s why I became a couples photographer, to be around the mushiness! Fun fact: Melissa and I actually went to elementary and middle school together, but she was a grade above me and we didn't talk much. All I remembered was how unbelievably sweet she was! Fast forward over 10 years later... I was building my portfolio, so I put out a post in a local Facebook group to find some couples that were willing to get mushy as hell in front of my lens. I saw Melissa's name pop up saying she was interested in being a part of it, I thought "wow what are the chances!"
TJ came with me on this session too, as he was working on learning photography as well! While Melissa and I may not have been close growing up, we clicked instantly as adults. Throughout the whole session, the four of us were laughing and chatting, to the point of almost missing the sunset photos lol! We ended up going out for drinks after too, and having an absolute blast!

Cristina and Sanzhar met at the gym, when Sanzhar's FRIEND asked out Cristina. She said no to the friend, because she was actually really interested in Sanzhar. After a few other times of running into each other, Sanzhar took his chance and asked her out, and to which she said, "finally!"
They have now been together for almost five years and have spent countless days chasing sunsets, going on national park road trips, and hanging out with their fur child named Cashew!
